“A personal Journal is a perfect place for you to think, feel, discover, expand, remember and dream” – Brad Wilcox
Let me share a little secret to feeling worthy and loved: Schedule some alone time…with your journal 😉
It’s an easy task and can be done just about anywhere at any time. Since I was a kid, I’ve journaled and enjoy it immensely. There are days that I won’t feel like doing it, however its so great for my mindset, that I’ll always come back to journaling. Looking back, I’ve had a multitude of journals ranging from personal day recounts, gratitude journals, dream journals and intuitive journals.
Today, I still journal almost every day and loving it. I’ve had many journals; however I don’t keep any of them – since I’m not one to go back to old journals to reminisce, it’s more so for me to release what I want to write and I always throw out my journals! Hhahaha! Some people think that’s strange – but each to their own I guess.
Here are 3 techniques to connect with your inner self:
- Love Yourself
Write down an entire page of what you love about yourself. Your looks, your personality, your mindset – everything! Keep going more than a page if you like!
2. Turn the other Cheek
Write down an entire page of what you love about someone who is truly bothering or annoying you. Rise above and overcome any anger or hatred. Those emotions do not serve you. Embrace love, forgiveness and peacefulness.
3. Make your soul connection stronger
Meditate for 15 minutes and after meditating just simply write your soul’s desire. See what comes out on the page.
